It is the duty of contractors to maintain a work environment free from sexual and racial harassment, intimidation and coercion. DHRD provides training to inform managers, supervisors, and employees so they can identify and prevent sexual and racial harassment in the work place. We train each group on their responsibilities.
Our modules discuss:
1) How to maintain a workplace free from sexual and racial harassment: the managerial role.
This module defines what is considered harassment in the eyes of the federal government and the courts. It defines what the responsibilities of the managers and supervisors are in maintaining a harassment-free working environment. It evaluates different case studies and openly discusses each situation. This module maximizes understanding and addresses concerns of managers.
2) How to maintain a workplace free from sexual and racial harassment: the employee role.
This module defines what is considered harassment in the eyes of the government and the policies of the company. The module will evaluate different case studies in the workplace, openly discussing the Who, What, Where, When, How, and Why Sexual and Racial harassment is unacceptable.
